Hi, I’m Sophie

I have dedicated my life to getting outcomes for our community. I’m a community organiser, a public health expert and a local councillor.

I’d love to continue to represent you as the Councillor for the City of Vincent, South Ward.

From talking with thousands of people across our community at their doorsteps, I know many in our community have been doing it tough.

A roof over everyone’s head, food on everyone’s table, and affordable healthcare for all. In a wealthy city like ours, this shouldn’t be an aspiration – it should be the bare minimum.

This is why I’m committed to finding practical solutions that will bring down the cost of living, and ensure everyone has what they need to live a good life,.

Vincent is one of the most compassionate, progressive communities in WA – I’m so proud to represent our shared values on Council. To me, this looks like taking strong climate action, prioritising community over developers, and supporting our local businesses, community groups and arts community.

This election we have a real opportunity to maintain our Greens presence on Council and get meaningful actions on the issues that matter us to; like urgent action on the climate crisis and genuine solutions to address housing affordability.

A better future for our community is possible – but we have to make it happen together.
