Hi, I’m Sophie

I’ve dedicated my life to fighting for our community – for a future where no one is left behind and we all have a quality, affordable home, world class services and a safe climate.

I’m Sophie, and I’m a community organiser, a public health expert, and your local councillor.

It’s my privilege to be seeking re-election as your Green on Council.
I have knocked on doors, dialled phones and coordinated real outcomes as a community organiser.

I’ve seen first hand what our community can do when we come together and it’s powerful.

From talking with thousands of people at their doors, I know many in our community have been doing it tough. I believe in engaged representation; I’m committed to keep listening, working with you and delivering on outcomes that make a real difference.

A roof over everyone’s head, food on everyone’s table, and affordable healthcare for all. In a wealthy city like Perth, this shouldn’t be an aspiration – it should be the bare minimum.

I know the challenges our community is facing, from cost-of-living pressures to housing stress, and I’m committed to practical solutions. I’m proud to champion policies that make living in Vincent more affordable. I’ll continue to support our local businesses, community groups and our arts community, while ensuring planning protects both character and community.

While on Council, I’ve worked to make our community fairer, greener and more connected. I’ve pushed for strong climate action, protection of our green spaces and more active transport options.

This election we have a real opportunity to maintain our Greens presence and get meaningful actions on the issues that matter us to; like urgent action on the climate crisis and genuine solutions to address housing affordability.

A better future for our community is possible – but we have to make it happen together.
